May 2007 – Annual Spring Party
Our Annual Spring Party was a successful fund-raiser benefiting My Sister’s Place in Chandler, Arizona…..Vegas Style! Fun was had by all as members played blackjack, roulette, craps and poker while nibbling on tasty appetizers. The tables were hot and so was a very special guest. Hopefully you caught a photo or were serenaded by Elvis before he left the building as he made a special appearance to see the ladies and support our fund raiser. Thank you…thank you very much……for making this such a memorable night!

April 2007 – Member Makeover
The secret member makeover this year was Dixie Prosser. She got a fun cut and funky color from Adam and Marilen Pink and makeup and wardrobe tips from Jennie Tighe. Five other women modeled clothes from Chico’s that fit and flatter different body types.

March 2007 – Terri Bowersock
Terri spoke to the group about how to master your thoughts with 7 easy steps through “Quantum Thinking for Success” principles. Overcoming the challenges of a third grade reading level due to dyslexia, Terri Bowersock started Terri’s Consign & Design Furnishings in 1979 with only $2,000. It expanded nationally, reaching a sales height of $36 million. Terri is the recipient of 27 local and national awards in recognition of her pioneering achievements in her business and personal life.

February 2007 – South Mountain Park
Park Ranger III, PJ Conover, provided the group with facts and tips about the amazing park located right here in Ahwatukee.

January 2007 – Feng Shui
Vicki Greener from Abundant Life Designs and Desert Sage Herbs spoke to the group about optimizing your environment with the chinese art of feng shui.
