Q: When does FWC meet?
A: Sept – May, one Wednesday each month.
Q: Where are the meetings held?
A: Club West Golf Club, 16400 S. 14th Avenue, Phoenix, 85045. (Chandler Blvd. & 14th Ave.)
Q: What is the purpose of FWC?
A: FWC is a social club with no commitments. It’s a relaxing way to meet your neighbors.
Q: Do I have to join?
A: No. Come as a guest at no charge to any meeting*. (*Members-only parties are held December and May.)
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Absolutely, bring a friend free of charge!
Q: How can I sign up to be a presenter to discuss a topic with your group?
A: Programs for the season are determined months in advance but if you would like the Board to consider a topic, please email info@foothillswomensclub.org.
Q: What is MSP?
A: My Sister’s Place – a national domestic violence shelter which FWC supports. For more info on the local chapter, click here.
Q: What does my membership fee cover?
A: Your membership fee goes towards costs for two members-only parties.
Q: Do I have to be on a committee?
A: No, but we’d love to have you! New ideas/suggestions are always encouraged.
Q: What do I wear?
A: Nice casual. Wear something that is relaxing and comfortable to you.
Q: Is there food and drink?
A: Light snacks are provided by FWC, but Club West’s restaurant is closed. The bar is open which offers a variety of beverages.
Q: Do I have to buy raffle tickets?
A: Participation in the raffle is optional.
Q: How is the raffle pot divided?
A: 50% goes to the winner, 25% goes to MSP, and 25% goes to FWC.
