About
Foothills Women’s Club of Ahwatukee, AZ
The Foothills Women’s Club began in 1992 and is an informal, relaxed, social organization aimed at women living in the Ahwatukee/Foothills/Club West area (and some from beyond). We do some “in-house” fundraising for a local domestic violence shelter, My Sister’s Place, located in Chandler, AZ. Fundraising efforts are primarly from raffle ticket sales at our meetings, special events and our members-only parties.
All are welcome to attend any meeting as a guest free of charge; although you must be a member to attend the parties. The club has approximately 90 members. This is a diverse group of women, from all walks of life–working, stay-at-home, retired, business owners, golfers, tennis players….you name it! It’s a wonderful way (with really no commitment) to escape once a month to enjoy yourself and meet with other ladies in the area.
Monthly meetings run September through May at Club West Golf Club*. Doors open at 7:00pm and the meeting begins about 7:30pm and may include guest speakers or entertainment.
*Directions to Club West: west on Chandler Blvd, then south on 14th Ave.
