Welcome To the Foothills Women’s Club Website!
The Foothills Women’s Club is where fabulous women come to create friendships while having fun! Women can find those like themselves who want to step out of the box and discover new relationships. This is a place where women can find their comfort zone without judgments.
The Foothills Women’s Club began in 1992 and is an informal, relaxed, social organization aimed at women living in the Ahwatukee and surrounding areas across the Valley. We do some “in-house” fundraising. Fundraising efforts are primarly from raffle ticket sales at our meetings, special events and our members-only parties. We serve hearty hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar is available.
Monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month September through May at The Foothills Golf Clubhouse (click for map). Doors open at 7:00pm and the meeting begins about 7:30pm and may include guest speakers or entertainment.
Oktoberfest Celebration on October 9th is our last meeting, with 85 women attending. Brats and all the fixin’s! Entertainment and fun!
Sept. 11th was our kick-off night, with guest speaker Lori Allen, presenting “Secrets Every Woman Wants to Know.” Lori Allen is a compounding pharmacist and owner of Mixtures Pharmacy and Compounding Center in Ahwatukee. She takes great interest in helping patients with hormone and thyroid imbalances, pain management, and custom nutritional consultations. She enjoys the challenges of working with doctors and patients who are not experiencing success through traditional treatments. Lori has been licensed as a pharmacist since 1992 and has been in the pharmacy since she was 16. She graduated from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. Ninety-two ladies attended.
An added benefit to our membership this season is our new Loyalty Card. When you join, you receive this card to get discounts and special offers at local businesses. Participating businesses are local brick and mortar businesses in the Phoenix area. See participating businesses here: Loyalty Card
